5 km
The largest half marathon in Russia. Join the major running event to run along Krymsky bridge, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin.

Due to the epidemiological situation and the recommendation of the regional authorities, we are forced to suspend preparations for the Moscow Half Marathon and cancel the race. The event will be postponed to an unspecified date. The sports exhibition and the distribution of starting packages will not take place.

We have worked for a long time to organize the race and we deeply regret that we could not fulfill our obligations. We apologize to everyone who waited with us for this start.

We are sincerely sorry that we disrupted your plans, and we realize that registering for the race is more than just a starting fee. It's motivation for training, months of preparation, and hopes for a successful finish.

We will inform registered participants about details and the new date of the event shortly.

The Moscow Half Marathon is the largest half marathon in Russia, and definitely the most spectacular one. You will have an unique opportunity to enjoy a picturesque route and admire the iconic views of Moscow.

Join the major running event to run 21.1 km or 5 km along Moskva-river embankments with views of world-famous landmarks, such as the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin.

Anti-Doping Program

The Moscow Half Marathon is committed to the principles of pure sport and strives to create a healthy and fair competitive environment for its participants.

Since 2017, the Moscow Half Marathon has been collaborating with the RUSADA Russian Anti-Doping Agency to demonstrate its commitment to fair, safe and doping-free competitions.

Anti-doping rules apply to all participants. Every athlete can be tested after the finish. The standard practice provides for selective testing of sportsmen taking prize places. Anti-doping rules violation will cause disqualification and other consequences established by the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules.

In addition to testing athletes, the Moscow Half Marathon, together with RUSADA, is working on anti-doping education for amateurs.

Charity

Life Line Charity Foundation

The Life Line Charity Foundation has become the charity partner of the Running Community. Now, when registering for our races you can make a donation for this foundation and help children.

The Life Line Charity Foundation provides support to ill children, who suffer from life threatening diseases. This charity funds medical equipment acquisition, high tech surgeries and medical research. Over the past 17 years the Foundation has provided targeted support to more than 11,600 children.

One of Life Line’s work directions is endoprosthesis in the treatment of sarcoma (bone tumors). For a long time it was considered that amputation is the only effective method of treatment of bone cancer. However, at the moment specialized treatment using insertion of high tech prosthesis allows children to keep their limbs and return to normal life. A single endoprosthesis costs Rub 2.5mln — an insurmountable sum of money for the majority of families in Russia. Together we can accumulate necessary funds to save children with bone tumors. Each donation is valuable!

Make a donation on the Life Line Charity Foundation website.
